EPiKA is a non-profit DJ collective, agency and a club night based in Edinburgh. Founded by DJ-producer ona:v in 2021, EPIKA’s club nights have built a somewhat legendary status over the years.
With a strong roster of residents - ENAEN, iluna, Iona.Violet, Leah Kyveli, Mairi'b'pots, Malissa, Nikki Guild, and ona:v - and a carefully curated selection of guests including Lindsey Herbert, Kessie, Selene, Livid, A.mo and many more, EPiKA has become a genuine shaping factor of Scottish underground.
EPiKA books femme DJs - an intentional choice to support artists whose gender presentation creates additional barriers within a male-dominated industry. The Edinburgh scene is now richer and more diverse, and the European style of techno has gained a strong fan base that was not there before EPiKA's inception.
Beyond the club programme, EPiKA runs regular femme-focused DJ workshops led by either resident or guest instructors. The collective also collaborates with other Scottish musical institutions, and has recently hosted a stage takeover at Edinburgh's music and arts festival Hidden Door as well as pop-up workshops at Scotland's beloved Kelburn Festival. Their pre-event socials have become legendary, bringing together residents, guests and party-goers before the night begins. The result is a dancefloor where everyone knows each other - a community of hundreds of friends united by the music they love. August 2026 marks five years of EPiKA - five years of championing femme talent, building community and pushing the sound of true underground techno in Scotland.
